I am obsessed with the Caylee Anthony case.

"Two-year-old Caylee Anthony is missing and according to her mother Casey Anthony, she has been missing since June 9, 2008. Anthony told investigators that she left Caylee with a friend and nanny, but has since lost contact with her friend. Police were not told about the missing child until July 15, 2008, when the child’s grandparents reported Caylee missing after confronting Casey and learning that the mother had not seen her daughter for well over a month."

I find myself constantly running thoughts through my head. I'm reading all the details online that I can find. I'm watching 15-20 minute court rulings, interviews and jail visits....and why?? I am in no way involved with the case. They do not live near me and I have nothing to gain or lose.

Well, except for my time that is. Time that I don't have enough of already. :-(

Why did the mother wait over 30 days to report her child missing?
Why is she so flat!? There's no emotion there. Where are the tears?? Could she have really hurt her little girl and disposed of her? If so, she's a pathological liar, and a tad psychotic if you ask me. How can the mom go out and party at the Clubs when her 2 y/o daughter is MISSING? Is she mentally ill? Is she a drug addict? I don't really see either in the pictures and videos released. Then again, if she's truly on the straight and narrow then WHAT HAPPENED TO HER DAUGHTER!?

Where is Caylee?????

See for yourself! Watch these Jail House Tapes.

Ugggh... I have my own problems and family to worry about. Why in the heck do I need to worry about theirs too!?

I found my oldest son "Christopher" (12) asleep on the couch in this position Saturday morning.

Wow. I am just speechless at the caring hearts of all of my dear friends!!!!! How can I possibly thank all of you enough???

In the last year I have realized the value of friendship. I learned you can always count on true friends. They help you weather every storm, they cheer you when you are down. I know that sometimes people get so preoccupied with life's troubles that you do not find the time to tell your friends how much they mean to you. I refuse to let that happen..... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You brought tears to my eyes, a warmth to my heart and put a smile on my face. For that, I am forever grateful.

There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound. ~ Diana Cortes, 'Girls Book of Friendship'

Hahaha! This made me laugh. See, just when you think you're down in the dumps... remember, it could always be worse. You could be like this man and literally be down in the shiter.

If you have children that attend school you probably know how difficult it can be to gather all the supplies on their school supply lists! For mothers of multiple children, that feat is even harder considering we have a different list for each child.

Personally, I loathe school supply shopping for that very reason. I can picture myself standing in the middle of Walmart with 3 lists in hand. Flipping back and forth between them, counting and counting again. All the while trying to stay out of the way of all the other shoppers and keep my toddler from screaming bloody murder from the front of the cart. Oh my, what a nightmare!! Last year I came up with what I thought was a brilliant idea. I combined all of their supplies on one page and I planned to divide them up once I returned home. Unfortunately, I had to travel to 4 different stores (NO JOKE!!) in order to gather all of the supplies. For some reason none of the stores had everything that I needed. Again, a complete waste of time and gas.

WELL, I discovered a SUPERB SOLUTION to this nightmare.
It's called:

I was TAGGED ....by M

6 quirky things about me:

1. I suffer from anxiety. If someone comes to the door that I don't know, I hide!

2. ...I also have phone issues. If someone calls the house and I don't know who they are, I simply CANNOT answer the phone.

3. I like to peel things. Sunburns, stickers... you name it.

4. I am a lazy chewer. I prefer not to eat meats because they require too much chewing. (Or so my mother tells me, and I think she's right!)

5. I must have one foot outside the covers at all times in order to sleep.

6. I have to visually inspect all my dishware and utensils before eating from them. Not only here at home, but also other people's houses, restaurants etc.

I'm Tagging:

Michelle at Driving the Big Black Bus

Gah, talk about writers block!!

That on top of the black cloud that continues to follow me around and you can say I'm officially in a slump! I've put a lot of thought into whether I want to continue this blog. I mean it's sole purpose, to follow us through our Adoption Journey has come to and end. So what now?

Well, I've decided that for now I will continue. I'm going to try out some new daily themes to keep me on task.

First and foremost, I'll be bringing back "My Best Shot Monday"! I know many of you enjoyed that aspect of my blog and it will encourage me to pick up and start using my camera again on a regular basis. It really is therapy for me, and I'm not quite sure why I've been avoiding it.

So, today I bring you a goofy shot of my 8yr old "Trey"...
