she'll still try to suck it.
But she'll quickly find that she has no suction...
and the plastic isn't really all that palatable after all.
So she will nibble at the end,
...and eventually give up on the idea.
(Well that's the goal anyway) So far, so good!

I can imagine mine would have thrown a fit. I guess it's a matter of your hanging in there until she gives it up. Sort of the ....it's goina hurt me more than you thing.

I was a thumb sucker until middle school. Luckily I understood not to suck my thumb in public when I got older, but I didn't actually stop until I got braces.
I hope it works for you. Luckily, I don't have to deal with it this time.
