I'm probably not going to be posting as much here in the next week. NJ's surgery is fast approaching. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

If you're interested, stop by his Caringbridge page.
I'll be posting frequent updates on his progress over there.

Hi Guys! You will be in our thoughts and prayers! We will see you on the 26th.

Kristen, my heart aches for you right now. But in a few short days NJ will be feeling so much better. I remember on of the older kids telling me that after they had their decompression they had surgical pain, but their headache was gone and that they felt so much better. I pray that it is that way for NJ.

    You are an awesome mommy!

I just found your blog through MomBlogs. WOW! What a LOT you all have been through with your son!

I can empathize in a way, as my son was born with 1/2 a heart, and had 5 strokes (2 of them fairly debilitating) before the age of three. We still struggle with all that he is dealing with, but he is 14 now, and such a miracle and a blessing!

God has a wonderful way of walking through all of this with us, and if it weren't for Him, we'd feel such desperation. But because of Him, we are so full of hope, and He has given us such peace through it all.

    God bless you!
