is a foundation for sharing our aliveness and building a more humane world.
~Martin Lowenthal
How do you show compassion for others? It's nearly Thanksgiving... think about how you can show compassion to those around you.
I know I whine a lot about our personal circumstances, but when it comes down to it, we really do have it pretty good. A family, a beautiful home, jobs (whether we like them or not is besides the point) food, health... You know, when it comes down to it, things could be a lot worse.
Reach out to someone in your life that's struggling right now. Especially with the Holiday season approaching us. Invite them for dinner, bake them a cake, send them a card, whatever is in your means. Show them some compassion and help to build a more humane world.

This is a great reminder. And I did the invite to dinner. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
I'm currently considering moving in with my parents for a few weeks to help them in a poor situation they're struggling with currently. Right now seems to be a time to lend a helping hand to family in my little piece of the world.
